Hi, my name is Terry, and I’m a working parent doing my best to care for my amazing autistic son, Ethan. He’s bright, funny, and full of potential—but he needs specialized care to thrive, and unfortunately, we’re hitting financial roadblocks that I can’t overcome alone.
Because I work, we don’t qualify for Medicaid, and while I do have insurance, it doesn’t cover several critical therapies and out-of-network doctors that my son relies on. We’ve been paying out-of-pocket for as long as we could, but now our bills are past due. Some of the providers we depend on are asking for payment up front, and I’m terrified we’ll have to pause his care because of finances.
Right now, I’m trying to raise $9,000 to cover:
Past-due medical bills
Support tools and resources not covered by insurance
Travel and costs for appointments outside our area
Every dollar helps, whether it’s $5 or $50. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this page is just as powerful.
This is incredibly hard to ask, but I know I’m not alone—and that means the world. Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping us keep moving forward.
With gratitude,
Terry
