Essam was a loving father of three, just trying to protect what little he had left in Sudan. While his wife and kids escaped to Egypt for safety, he stayed behind to watch over their home and belongings, hoping things would get better.

But things got worse. RSF soldiers beat him badly, demanding money. He was then arrested, his family raised money to bail him out. Once he was out of jail just they came back, and this time, they shot and killed him. Just like that, his life was taken, and his family was left without a father.

Now, his children are in Egypt without him, and his family is struggling to figure out what comes next after this tragic loss. We’re raising money to support them, and to help them through this impossible time. Essam was an incredible human who also helped us look after our belongings. Despite dealing with his own struggles, he never hesitated to be there for us, always making sure we were okay even when he wasn’t.
