Aid Erica's Fight for Life After Tragic Fire
Donation protected
My name is Caeleigh and I am writing this for my friend and her sister who was the recent victim of the Whinney Hill Road fire in Oneonta New York that was shown on WKTV news as a top story.
This resulted in an entrapment and CPR upon removing her from the burning house.
Erica is previously diagnosed with colon cancer, and already autoimmune compromised.
As a result of the injuries sustained from the fire, she was airlifted to Syracuse burn unit where she is recovering and she will be able to pull through at this time. She is currently on 30% oxygen and hoping to be able to go home soon .
At this time, the family does not have the means to travel back and forth or get a hotel. They are not allowed to stay in the ICU burn unit overnight and they cannot afford to pay for lodging every night. They will need help with whatever medical expenses ensue from treatment, travel, lodging, and other costs.
We are praying really hard that Erica can pull through at this time;
Please, help them recover from this horrific accident. They are trying to be strong and pull through this, but as a community, I know we can help them out! If you are not able to donate, please consider sharing.
Thank you so much and we will continue to keep you updated as we know more.
