Help the Conry Siblings Rebuild After Unimaginable Loss
We’re raising funds for the Conry family, who have endured a heartbreaking series of tragedies no one should ever have to face.
On March 24, 2025, their loving and devoted mother, Hanife, passed away after an aggressive battle with cancer. She was the heart of her family—kind, nurturing, and selfless—and leaves behind her two surviving children, Enise and Michael, who are now left to pick up the pieces alone.
Hanife’s loss comes after years of unimaginable grief. In 2019, their father, Trent Conry, a talented and widely respected executive chef (701 Restaurant, The Occidental, Rasika, Ardeo/Bardeo, Grand Cru Wine Bar & Bistro, The Bombay Club), passed away following a long struggle with cancer, Crohn’s Disease, and Parkinson’s. He was the first blow in what would become a devastating chain of losses.
In 2021, the Conry’s eldest son, William, was tragically murdered—shot in the heart the very same month Hanife was first diagnosed with breast cancer. Though she fought bravely through treatment and achieved a brief remission, the cancer returned earlier this year, spreading to her liver, bones, and ultimately the lining of her brain. After months of intense suffering, she entered hospice care, and her children had to watch the woman they loved most fade away far too soon.
Now, Enise and Michael are facing a painful new reality—grieving the loss of both parents and their brother, while trying to manage the financial and legal burden of their estate. Hanife passed without a will, and everything now falls on her children’s shoulders.
Michael is working hard to remain in college under the weight of emotional trauma and financial strain.
Enise moved back from San Diego—where she had just begun to find peace—to help spearhead navigating the probate process with her brother.
As if these losses weren’t enough, they have also recently lost both of their beloved grandmothers, a cousin, close friends, and cherished pets.
This family has been through more than anyone should in a lifetime. They are exhausted, heartbroken, and in desperate need of help.
We are asking for your support in easing their burden. Every dollar helps—whether it’s for legal fees, school expenses, funeral costs, or just giving them the space to grieve without the constant weight of financial pressure.
Please consider donating, sharing, and showing the Conry siblings that they are not alone.
Let’s surround them with the love and support they so deeply need right now.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts
