I am Enid S Ramos, a devoted family nurse practitioner who strives to provide the best medical care to all my patients. On 1/24/2025 I had to switch roles and became the patient. While in the operating room to have partial colon resection, I had a sudden, prolonged, cardiac arrest. This means intense CPR leading to advanced chest trauma and chest hemorrhage.

I have been in Loma Linda Medical Center since then. Recovery has been slow but steady. While Loma Linda Medical Hospital in Southern California is excellent, it is out-of-network for my HMO coverage. Furthermore, due to chronic diverticulitis, I lost most of my pay time off for 2025. Hence, I will not be able to obtain income during the extended recovery process. For these reasons, I am sharing this information with all potential donors. Though totally out of my comfort zone, I will be forever grateful for any donations.
