Aid Emanuel's Family in Time of Need

I would like to ask if you could please bear with me and read to the end:

Hi, my name is Emanuel Voelker, and my family lives in Japan. We have 3 children, young boys age 5, 3, and 1. Please see our photos, and please if you could read all 5 points below regarding our situation:

1. The following is not the primary purpose of the campaign, but I need to provide some initial context: My mother in law, Ikeko Tohnishi, has stage 4 breast cancer and will lose her job in April of 2025 due to her company's decision not to renew her contract. Her cancer has even spread to her bones. She is a pharmacist and fainted on the job at her workplace. The situation is certainly sorrowful for us. However, to be clear this is not directly why we need help nor the purpose of this campaign because my mother in law has not opted for chemo or surgery, as it is too late anyways

2. Also not the primary purpose of this campaign but this also has to be mentioned, for context, and there are number of details I will lay out here: Our family has lived in Japan for the last 6 years. In 2021 and 2022, I was the victim of a medical scam operation called Tokyo Brain Clinic which administered Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation to allegedly treat my disorders, even though TMS is not designed for my pre-existing conditions as I learned only after being tricked into the treatments against FDA guidelines and only after having my health negatively affected as a result. In fact my conditions were made significantly worse, and I was left with negative neurological alterations. These treatments have impacted my ability to work at certain types of jobs, in particular the work I have been predominantly doing while in Japan. I'm currently even trying to do a strenuous long-term water only fast {I'm literally shooting for over 20 days of fasting} to help heal my brain from TMS as this has been proven to work for other victims of TMS, and I even need extra support for that process on top of everything else I will mention here, as fasting makes it that much harder to maintain income. I will avoid going too much into detail about TMS because compensation from that is not the main focus of this GoFundMe, either. I am not looking for compensation, at least not at this point because there are certain responsible parties involved that I need to hold accountable, and I need to take care of that separately at this point. Rather my purpose is, after explaining all the circumstances at a basic level, to look for help to get myself up and running with an job opportunity for work which I CAN do, which I will describe in the next point, so that I can provide for my family

3. To overcome the circumstances of my mother in law's job situation and damage from TMS, among other challenges, our hope now lies in a job offer {For which I have already been accepted} in America where I could work as an independent contractor for a company called Scarlett Wireless, which is an outsourced company hired by Ericsson, which is itself outsourced by AT&T to service AT&T’s 5G cell phone tower network in the United States. This work would bring in enough money to support my family, a lot more than I am currently eking out in Japan. I am able to perform the functions of this job, including in my current condition. Also, the pay is sufficient to save my family financially. If we stay as we are, with my mother in law's pending work situation on the horizon, my condition, and other problems {Including but not limited to the challenge of getting sufficient lines of credit in either Japan or America}, we will absolutely be displaced with nowhere to go and no way to fund NOR SUSTAIN a new place

4. From a financial perspective, my mother in law was providing a large part of our income up to now. My wife makes just slightly above minimum wage, and my own income situation in Japan has been virtually impossible, especially with my brain damage. I have no credentials or Japanese language levels that would allow me proper income, and the situation is challenging for other reasons also. There are other things going on as well but I don't want to bore people with excessive details unless someone asks

In terms of income we have barely survived so far, but that was with my mother-in-law working and with me in a properly functional state

5. To get going with this time sensitive transition, I need approximately $12,000 to get to America and fund the first month there. Originally I thought I needed 9k but my wife is asking for 2 months pay {Japanese pay} upfront as a safety cushion. Here is the math on everything, and how I would plan on using it:

a. $3000 to $4000 for a used AWD truck which I would need for the job; contractors use their own vehicles to perform work, which often entails driving out to remote off-road locations to service the 5G cell phone towers. I already have a listed used Toyota Sequoia in mind for that, but there are other cars in that range too

b. $2000 of initial gas money for the first month; there is a lot of driving and traveling to service the towers}

c. $600 of food money for the first month

d. $1000 emergency money

e. $500 maintenance and repair fund for the vehicle, at least for the first month

f. Plane ticket to America {I found great flights on Google flights from Tokyo to Los Angeles for $340}, and then miscellaneous, including but not limited to gym memberships where I could shower, Costco membership for food and gas, toll fees, etc.

g. $3000 for 2 months' pay up front for my wife

Some say I need more money, but I know I can achieve and make it with the amount listed just fine. The goal is to activate and fund the first month, that's it. After that, I will be able to do on my own, because the pay for the job in America will be much more than in Japan

If we don't activate a solution by April we will be displaced, and my wife is very stressed out about our situation. I have tried over and over again to find solutions in Japan but they have failed. I had already made the decision to transition to America a number of weeks ago due to my condition and limited work opportunities in Japan. However, the news of my mother-in-law's situation forces us to accelerate this plan with new urgency. For now it will be just myself that goes to America; I plan to later move my family to America long term, after laying a foundation for them to come over
