Support the Thompson Family After a Devastating Accident Involving 3 Year Old Elora
On Friday, September 26th, the Thompson family’s life changed in an instant.
While driving the kids to school and daycare, my brother-in-law John was in a serious car accident. The crash left sweet Elora, just 3 years old, with a severe skull fracture. She was rushed to the hospital and has been in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, in a medically induced coma following emergency brain surgery.
The road ahead will be long and uncertain.
John and his wife are devoted parents to three beautiful children Elora and her two brothers, Teddy and Toby. Their lives have been completely upended emotionally, physically, and financially.
Right now, both parents are doing what any loving parents would: staying by Elora’s side, praying for her healing, and trying to stay strong for their family. But the reality is: with lost income, rising medical costs, and ongoing household expenses, the financial burden will only continue to grow.
We’re raising funds to help support the Thompsons through this crisis by covering:
• Lost wages from time off work
• Food and gas expenses during Elora’s hospital stay
• Medical expenses and long-term care for Elora
• Basic living expenses to keep their home and family stable
Elora is a vibrant, brave little girl who adores her brothers and brings joy to everyone she meets. She has so much ahead of her — and right now, she needs all the love, care, and support we can give.
Please consider donating to help the Thompson family through this unimaginable time. Whether it’s $10 or $100, every gift truly helps. And if you’re unable to give right now, please help by sharing this campaign with your friends, coworkers, or community.
Above all, we ask for your prayers and positive thoughts for Elora’s recovery and for strength and peace for John, his wife, and their boys.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness and compassion.
— Arianna, Elora’s aunt
