Hello, I am trying to raise funds for my grandson Elijah. He was in a dirt bike accident on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. He is now in ICU at Devos Children's Hospital. He has suffered a fractured left side of his face, and he has swelling and bleeding in the brain. He is not coherent; the doctors are doing neural checks on him every hour. He does not remember what happened to him. He doesn't respond well to the questions the doctors are asking him. Simple questions, like he does know his name, but he goes in and out of his location and who is at the hospital with him. He is having outbursts really bad. The doctors explained that this is normal when you have swelling and bleeding on the brain. If he recovers from this, he will have a long road ahead with therapy. He does have insurance, but we are asking for help with the out-of-pocket costs that will be accruing. We don't know when he will be able to come home.
