Aid Elena's Stem Cell Transplant Expenses

Hi everyone. This is Krista and Becky. With her permission, we decided to start this go fund me for our friend Elena. As some of you know, Elena was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma this summer, which is cancer of the plasma cells. Since her diagnosis, she has been taking weekly chemo treatments, as well as other medications, and trying to make up missed hours at work on weekends. Her doctor says for the best possible outcome, she will need to have stem cell transplant in Lexington Ky, which is scheduled for this upcoming January. She will have to stay in Lexington, near the hospital, for at least a month and will be out of work for at least 3 months. Taking this stem cell transplant was a hard decision for her because of the financial burden of missing so much work. Our goal in setting up this page is to help alleviate some of the stress and financial strain. She has new medical bills which are only pilling up, hotel and travel expenses, and other typical bills and needs. Any amount will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!
