Hello,

We share this today with a hopeful heart to ask for your support for our friend Ed Swaim who has found himself unable to work due to some medical complications.

For the past few months, Ed has been battling a leg infection that has required him to spend time getting medical attention in either the hospital or outpatient rehabilitation. His insurance will not cover the cost of him staying at rehab and he has been forced into an extended stay hotel as while he has been focused on getting better, his home has fallen into disrepair. He’s on the mend, but needs a few surgeries as well as some help around the house to get it back up to livable conditions and could use our help to get his legs back under him.

As many of you know, before these complications, Ed has been teaching at North Shore Community College. Funds raised will go directly towards Ed’s recovery and easing the financial burdens. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a profound difference and is deeply appreciated.
