This is hard for me to ask, but I’m reaching out because I’ve hit an unexpected financial gap and need short-term help getting through it.
I'm a full-time student, single parent of two, and I recently made the difficult decision to leave my previous job and accept a new position that offered the flexibility I need to prioritize my health and my family. Unfortunately, my new job’s start date has been unexpectedly postponed and is currently TBD. I received a final partial paycheck of $900 when I left my job, but I normally bring home about $2,700 per pay period, and the gap has hit hard.
On top of this, my car has broken down and needs urgent repairs so I can safely transport my children and be ready for work once my new job begins.
Right now, I am facing:
- $814 in rent
- $342 in internet/utilities
- Urgent car repairs
- Other late household bills
Funds raised will go directly toward catching up on rent, paying critical bills, and repairing my car so I can maintain stability for my family and be prepared for employment as soon as my start date is confirmed.
