Aid Dusty and Alyssa After Devastating Fire

Hi, my name is Sheena, and I am starting this GoFundMe for my 12-year-old son's father, Dusty Hyatt, and his girlfriend, Alyssa Becker. They recently found out they are pregnant, and my son will have a little brother or sister soon. They just lost their house to a fire this morning, along with two of their cats. Any of my son's things that were there are gone, but they lost everything they owned except the clothes they have on their backs.

We were hit hard by Hurricane Helene in Morganton. They, along with myself and the rest of the town, have been without power and water, so they were luckily staying at a neighbor's house when the fire started. The power was restored last night after a week of no power, and they almost went back home. Luckily, they decided to wait until the next morning; otherwise, they would have been asleep in the bedroom where the fire started (the fire department thinks) at the breaker box. Material things can be replaced, but their lives cannot. However, I cannot imagine watching everything you own go up in flames along with two of your pets. Not only that, but they will be bringing a child into the world, and with the uncertainty of the future, I can imagine how much-added stress that brings.

All donations will help them find a place to stay and get them necessities to help until they are back on their feet. They literally have nothing except the clothes on their backs.
