Steve Hale - Aid During Covid Hospitalization

Steve was diagnosed and hospitalized with Covid-19 at the beginning of August and is currently in ICU at Vidant. His discharge date is unknown and dependent upon recovery.  Our understanding is that this is  more of a marathon and Steve is used to running sprints.  As most of you know Steve is a loyal family man whose love for his wife and boys is unmeasurable.  When he is not at work, he can be found at the baseball field with Amy, supporting Carter and Nathan from the outfield sidelines. 

The family is overwhelmed by the amount of love and support that has been shown over the last couple of weeks.  Every text, call, prayer, dinner, dessert, groceries, yard mowing (yes, the list is ongoing) already have touched our hearts and helped make this time a bit easier.  

Several of our friends have asked about finances.  While this can be a sensitive subject to address, we are deeply touched by the inquiries.  A suggestion was made to create a GoFundMe page for those who are able and would like to help in that way.  Please don't feel any obligation as your love and prayers are the most valued gift you can give.  Donations will contribute to medical/house bills and loss of income during his extended absence from work.

This is a very difficult journey but the Lord has already shown us so much love through our family of friends.   Our hearts are sincerely touched by the outpouring of support we have received by everyone.  We love each and every one of you that have been with us including our baseball families, church families, work families and many others that we've been blessed to call our friends!
