Hello, my name is Dorothy Evans Simpson. Like so many others in Altadena, I lost my home in the Eaton fire. I woke up to a house full of smoke. When I opened the front door, there was fire all around me. By the grace of God, I was able to escape. I’m thankful today to just be alive. It’s a blessing to be alive, and I’m grateful for a second chance.

I am humbly asking for help to start the process of getting back on my feet and back to serving my beloved community. I lost everything I owned; any amount will be greatly appreciated.
