My name is Amy Arntz and I am raising money for my friend Dominique Gould. Dominique is many things…. A great friend, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a wonderful ICU nurse and coworker. But the thing Dominique wants most in the world is to be a mom. She and her husband Justin have suffered 2 miscarriages on their journey to realizing their dream of being parents. Five months ago they got the amazing news that they had conceived again, and a few weeks later discovered that their rainbow baby was actually TWINS!!!!! Dominique is currently 22 weeks pregnant with twin girls, Peyton Kennedy and Mackenzie Riley. Their dream come true has taken a turn that they never could have predicted. Last week Dominique went to the doctor because she wasn’t feeling well, only to discover she was in active labor. She was rushed to the hospital, admitted and started on medications to stop her contractions and has been on bed rest and closely monitored for the past few days. So far the babies are doing well, but they are estimated to weigh only approximately 500g each and are far too small and underdeveloped to be delivered any time soon. Dominique will remain in the hospital for the foreseeable future in order to allow the babies time to grow, and Justin will be by her side. Since both of them will be unable to work for now and they will be facing a mountain of medical bills I am asking anyone who is willing to contribute to this fund to help with expenses/medical bills. No amount is too small, and I know Dominique, Justin, Peyton and MacKenzie appreciate any amount given to help them through this.
