Aid Dominic's Journey to Health and Hope

My name is Hugo Corro, and I’m reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for help on behalf of my best friend, Dominic Di Maio. Dominic is not only my closest friend but also someone who has touched the lives of so many with his kindness, humor, and unwavering support. Unfortunately, he is now facing one of the toughest battles of his life.

A few days before Thanksgiving in 2024, Dominic began experiencing severe difficulty breathing and was rushed to St. Helena Hospital. There, he was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure, a serious condition that has turned his world upside down. After spending nearly a week in the hospital, he was discharged to continue managing this life-changing diagnosis at home. However, the financial burden left behind is staggering. Dominic now immediately faces a medical bill of $7,900—a sum that is overwhelming given his current situation, as well as many upcoming and ongoing costs such as medication, and individual healthcare visits.

Life hasn’t been easy for Dominic in recent years. In 2023 he faced the devastating loss of his grandmother, all while standing by his parents as his father battles his own health journey. Despite these hardships, Dominic has remained a shining light in the lives of those around him. His infectious laughter, kind heart, and selfless spirit have made him a source of strength and joy for friends, family, and the entire community.

Today, Dominic needs our help. I am calling on everyone whose life has been touched by Dominic to come together and support him during this critical time.
