Aid Dixie Doodle’s Hip Dysplasia Treatment

My name is Kaylee, my boyfriend and I found out on Dec 27th that our Dixie Doodle (11 month old German Shepherd) has a severe case of hip dysplasia. We were told we need to act sooner rather than later. We have two procedure options 1. THR - total hip replacement (8k-10k per hip) 2. FHO - Femoral Head Ostectomy (4.5k-5k per hip). FHO looks like our best option since it is roughly half the price and the recovery time is much less than a THR. We have her on pain medication to reduce her pain, with her being so young we don’t want her to live on pain meds her entire life. We are praying we can get the FHO on both hips and she will live a normal life after recovery ❤️
