Support My Mom’s Recovery After Major Mouth Surgery

Hi, my name is Beckie Kruger, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my amazing mom, Diane Dudley, who is currently recovering from major mouth surgery — a procedure that was necessary to relieve long-standing pain and restore her ability to eat, speak, and smile again.

The surgery was a success, and we are beyond grateful — but the road to recovery is just beginning, and it’s filled with medical bills, follow-up treatments, and unexpected costs that we weren’t fully prepared for.

What Happened:

After struggling for years with painful dental and jaw issues, my mom underwent extensive oral surgery to address infections, bone loss, and structural damage. The surgery included [briefly mention if known: bone grafts, extractions, implants, reconstruction, etc.], and it has taken a major toll on her physically and emotionally.

She’s currently unable to do anything for at least 10 days, has a long healing process ahead, and needs ongoing care that includes:

Regular post-op visits

Medications for pain and infection

Special nutrition to aid healing

Dental appliances or reconstructive procedures in the near future

Caregiver to help her with her daily needs and help her with recovery procedures

Why We’re Asking for Help:

Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket costs are piling up fast. We’ve already paid over $29,880, and we’re looking at another $14,000 in follow-up care, not including living expenses during her downtime.
