Hi, I’m Derrick (Deke) McTeer. I recently had major eye surgery for a detached retina in my left eye. I was laid up for 3 months. Eye surgery was the latest in a long line of health battles over the past 6yrs. From a heart attack, which not people are aware of, to COVID, to RSV, seeing multiple specialists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, U of M, spending time in hospitals. I have healed and I am preparing for a return to work, but I have had numerous medical and other bills pile up, that are taking a very heavy toll.
