Aid Dennis's Journey to Recovery and Stability

Hi everyone. I am creating this GoFundMe to try and help support our family during this difficult time.

On Wednesday, July 30th, my husband was involved in an accident at work, where a 1000-pound pipe pinned Dennis to the ground. When this happened, it caused him to have separated ribs and a hematoma. But worst of all, it crushed his kneecap. He has two fractures in his tibia and blew out the cartilage in his knee. He will be undergoing surgery to repair the damage that was done.

Dennis is going to be out of work for quite some time. He is also the breadwinner of our family. He will qualify for short-term disability, but this is going to be a huge financial burden for us.

Dennis is a hardworking man, a devoted father, and an amazing husband. I'm trying to raise money to help take some stress off of him and myself, and to possibly be able to stay home and take care of him more. We are also in need of a few things to help Dennis recover at home, like a porch with a ramp to allow access in and out of our 5th wheel, and a recliner chair for him to recover in. All money raised will go towards household bills and things he needs to make recovery bearable. Anything will help at this point in time.

we saw the orthopedic surgeon Friday. Dennis has crushed the top of his tibia and has some torn cartilage. He will undergo surgery Monday August 4th to place screws and a metal plate to stabilize the bone. Thanks to the donations so far we were able to get Dennis a recliner for him to recover on. But he still has a long road ahead. Next we need a deck and ramp build to be able to easily access our 5th wheel
