Aid Delilah's Family in Her Peaceful Farewell

Our beloved Delilah is a part of our family and has brought so much joy the past four years.

This week, she came down with a rare and aggressive skin infection that quickly escalated. I sought medical care from our vet, but as her condition worsened, I had to take her to the emergency vet. They performed emergency surgery to clean her wounds, but the infection had spread significantly.

The vet explained that the infection would continue to spread across her chest and that caring for her wounds while keeping her comfortable would require months of intensive care and an overwhelming amount of money. After much heartbreak and consideration, I have made the incredibly difficult decision to let her go peacefully.

My children, who consider Delilah their best friend, desperately want the chance to say their goodbyes, but they are with their father until Monday. I am caring for her until they are here to ensure they can say their proper farewells. I'm giving Delilah all the love and comfort she deserves while tending to her wounds daily. She will be put to rest peacefully in our home on Monday surrounded by love.

I am humbly asking for help to cover a portion of the costs of her vet bills, to tend to her wounds the next few days, and to cover the cost of putting her to rest. I’m currently experience great financial hardship and simply don’t have the funds to cover these unexpected costs.
