Dear Family and Friends,

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts but hopeful spirits to ask for your support for someone incredibly special to us—our beloved “bonus baby,” Delicia.

Delicia has been accepted to Loyola University Chicago, where she’ll be pursuing her dream of studying Criminology in the hopes of one day becoming an FBI agent. As a first-generation college student and an independent young lady, she’s been working incredibly hard all summer to save for her first tuition payment, which is due later this month.

Unfortunately, just as she was nearing her goal, the money she had saved was stolen in the early morning hours of August 8th. This devastating setback has put her college dreams at serious risk.

Delicia doesn’t qualify for more financial aid, and her only option has been to pay out of pocket through a payment plan. She’s done everything right—working long hours, staying focused, and never giving up. Now, she needs a community to rally around her and help get her back on track.

If we could cover the gap ourselves, we absolutely would, but with our own child starting college in just a few days, we’re simply not in a position to do it alone. That’s why we’re turning to our community.

Anyone who’s met Delicia knows how strong, kind, and determined she is. She's resilient, courageous, and has a heart full of hope. With just a little help, we can ensure this setback doesn't stop her from starting this important new chapter.
