Hello Everyone,
My sister Dee traveled from Wisconsin to California on November 15 when she came to town with her husband to release her fathers-in-law spirt. She said she wasn’t feeling well but didn’t want to miss the ceremony and insisted to wait till it was over. Thankfully, she agreed to go with me to the hospital on November 16th morning since she was showing signs of a stroke. After several days later, they confirmed she had a stroke. We were hopeful that she would get released, however things did not go accordingly to what we had hoped. 1 week after her admission, we almost lost her. Thankfully, my mom was at bedside when she said she did not feel well and became unresponsive. My mom urgently called in help and the rapid medical team rushed in and performed CPR on her to rapidly save her. A few days later while still waiting to come out of the ICU, she had another stroke where she was not able to control her body at all and was bobbling her head and barely responding. She is still admitted and working on therapy and staying stable, while my brother-in-law was not able to return to work either to help support her recovery at bedside. My sister still has a 6-month-old baby as well and 4 other children (19, 15, 12, 9) at home who are missing their parents since their parents are stuck out of state for her hospital admission.
I kindly ask that if you can spare a little donation to help with their bills for now since they have not been able to work for over 2 weeks and not knowing when and if they will qualify for any disability income since they just used up a lot of FMLA for their 6-month-old baby in which she was hospitalized for high risk pregnancy in addition to my niece having been in the NICU. Your kind donation can help with the bills for cost of living (mortgage, utilities, car insurance, groceries for the kids back home, etc.), hospital bills (multiple labs, tests, and specialty services involved), and costs to travel back home when and if the doctor approves. The future is unknown at this time as the doctor has mentioned that recovery will take months at minimum. Most recovery for stroke patients takes at least a year. Again, thank you for your kind consideration and donation to help fund support her to be less stressed and focus on healing and recovering as fast as she can.
