Hi, I wish you all peace of being & heart, & courage in these times of struggle.

I'm deCoy Gallerina of Radical Medicine Project, life-long, humbly hardcore prolific, cross genre/cross platform dedicated artivist.

I struggled for over a decade in the Bay Area with the impossibly exorbident rents, unsafe housemates & conditions. I decided to travel to Oklahoma to work our tribe's Culture & Language Restoration Progect (I had been doing so via wifi, in person was the next step). I did so. Our tribe is in the process of repatriation to the Southwest from our prisoner of war place in Oklahoma. After a year in Okie, I decided to repatriate & have done so. Finding a safe environment to thrive in & continue justic arts, lending my being to the movements happening now towards compassion & humane existance.

I've been in my studio space north of Abiquiu, New Mexico for aprox 6 months now, very inspired.

The location demands a working vehicle for one to survive. My car is old & has served me well...but two days ago...her transmission died...

There are buses in Abiquiu that go to Taos, & in Espanola which connect with buses to Santa Fe.

But there is nothing here...I called many places, but my lovely spot is not within their service areas.

I'm brainstorming many ideas...renting a car from a neighbor on the days I need to attend doctors appointments, procure supplies etc.

Now, I had a decent savings stored up, the move to Okie then to here, all the incured expenses...ate the great portion of this.

Also, funds that had already been allotted to us for the language restoration project were STOPPED...abruptly stopped by the current gov admin...this is our tribe's money & my food money.

And, now, my car has stopped...abruptly stopped...no fault of her own...she's old...

but not so old a transmission doctor can not heal her.

So, I am seeking emergency funds to get the work needed on my car, so that I have survival transportation.

I have teaching gigs lined up & in the works during the summer (I need a car to get to these jobs). I also do fur baby care & sell art, performance & hats locally & remotely.

It is not enough at this point, especially being new in the area...to cover major work on my little car.

Also, a car is an essential factor to attend, voice & support the protests in the area etc.

I am asking my friend circles & their friend's circles exponential to aid in my survival quest.

A bit of herstory:

I'm an elder, matriarch, culture bearer, beadwork maestra, member of the Chiricahua Apache Tribe, Fort Sill group; we are the group Geronimo & Cochise are from (not pretendians/imposters).

We suffered a major halocaust just 100 years ago, loosing over 90% of our people. Then our children were stolen into boarding schools, where our's had the highest death & missing rates. We suffer(d) major intergenerational trauma & its effects, & are blessed to be on this earth at all due to our tenacity & support of others of compassion.
