Hello, My name is Chenoa Bakken. I am setting up this GoFundMe to help my aunt Debbie ( Deborah Davidson). In November, she was diagnosed with AML ( Acute Myelogenous Leukemia). This type of cancer is in the blood and bone marrow and generally gets worse quickly. Which hers did, and with powerful chemo treatments, she was able to catch it. However, on March 20th, she had to get a Bone Marrow transplant to help continue fighting this. Before my aunt was diagnosed with AML, she worked four jobs, even with having Lupus, one full-time as a teacher/ para and three part-time jobs. Not only did she have these jobs, but she also did her best to be able to show up for family events and make time for her friends. My aunt has touched the hearts of so many. She is helpful, brave, kind, and strong. She doesn't ask for help and does everything in her power to do all she can. She hasn't been able to work since she was diagnosed, as she has been in and out of the hospital; she is still trying to regain her strength to be able to go back to work and enjoy the small things in life. She still has a long road ahead of her with treatments, continued appointments, medications, and just her everyday bills and needs. So we are asking for help as this journey continues.
