Support Dawnie and Family in her Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected
Thank you so much for those who have donated, sent a note, said a prayer! Your support is deeply appreciated.

Hello and thank you so much for stopping by. We've set up this account for those looking for a way to help support Dawn and family as she continues her journey fighting breast cancer.

The past few months Dawn has been in and out of the hospital with pain and blood pressure challenges. She has been trying different treatments such as chemo and immunotherapy but devastatingly, in January 2025 her scan showed a big increase in lesions indicating her body wasn't responding to the chemo as expected. She is working with her team of doctors to try to find a more supportive treatment plan.

She has stepped away from work to focus on her health and needs some help with monthly household bills as well as medical bills.

I know its very difficult for her and Courtney to ask for help but also that many people love them very much and are looking for a way to offer support.

To give some background on Dawn's journey:
- On 2/17/21 she was diagnosed with Stage II Triple Negative Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in her left breast
- This was caught early, and the tumor was small (about 2.5 cm)
- Some abnormalities were found, and the tumor was aggressive (growing quickly) so the doctors at SCCA recommended an aggressive treatment plan
- She began AC and Taxol chemotherapy the first week in March, following a port placement surgery on 3/2/2021
- She began AC chemo treatments on 3/8 and continued every 2 weeks for 2 months. After that, she received Taxol chemo treatments every week for 3 months
- She had a bilateral mastectomy on 8/17/21 - all nodes were clear
- Her diagnosis was changed to Triple Negative Metaplastic Breast Cancer
- She completed treatment in March 2022 after 6 month of oral chemo
- In April 2023 she had a routine colonoscopy and a small mass was found which tested as the same cells as my previous diagnosis (metaplastic breast cancer)
- In June 2023 an additional mass was found on her left lung
