Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

Thanks to you — your emotional and financial support — we were able to prolong our beloved Davit’s life by 6.5 months. You all became part of the miracle that gave us those extra days with him. We are forever grateful for the precious time he was able to spend with family and friends.

I am deeply thankful and blessed for each and every one of you who helped us create that miracle of extra life. As Davit’s condition worsened, we were no longer able to travel abroad, but with God’s help we found a wonderful doctor here in the Cities who believed in us and fought alongside us.

We tried everything possible — and impossible — to slow the progression of this terrible disease. Through it all, Davit remained calm, kind, pure-hearted, and radiant in spirit until his very last breath. He fought with strength and dignity, and I fought with him every second as his greatest advocate. I became a fully trained caregiver at his side, and it was an honor to care for my beloved husband. It was incredibly hard for our whole family, both mentally and physically, but I now know that I am a fighter and will never give up on those I love.

My beloved husband Davit passed away on November 27th, Thanksgiving evening, around 5:30 p.m., holding my hand, at Mayo Hospital in Rochester ICU. He left this world peacefully and without pain. Even in his final moments, he remained kind, calm, and smiling.

I am forever grateful that he chose me to be his wife and the mother of his children.

As we face this unimaginable loss, I want to share honestly that we were not prepared for the financial burden that comes with such a sudden and devastating tragedy. If you are able to offer any support — of any amount — it would mean the world to us and help me and our children navigate the difficult days ahead. Your kindness will help us stay steady during this painful transition.
