Aid David Kay's Battle with MS
Donation protected
Hi, it’s David Kay’s son Benjamin. I’m sure if you know him, you’ve probably heard a lot about me.
Recently my dad has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. For the past few months, he has progressively lost his ability to walk, use his arms and hands, as well as many other symptoms that come with this uncurable disease.
My dad is one of the most extroverted people I know (as well as the funniest), but since MS has taken over his life, he isn’t the DK we know. Not being able to socialize, leave the house, or work has left him in an awful frame of mind.
I recently decided to move back home to support him and the rest of my family mentally, physically and financially.
From him being out of work for several months, as well as my mother undergoing surgery herself, it has been very hard for any of us to ask for help.
Given the current state my family and I find ourselves in, I took it upon myself to start this go fund me.
Many of you have been asking what you can do to help (even if it’s just a quick visit), but due to the given circumstances we can’t allow visitors/ don’t know what his reaction will be that day, hour, or minute.
As to the request of many, here is a page where you can help.
My parents and I have a hard time doing this, but anything would help us out right now.
Much thanks and much love.
Please keep my Dad in your thoughts and remember to be thankful for what you have while you have it.
