Aid David Frantz's Family in Crisis
Donation protected
This GoFundMe account has been set up by friends, coworkers and colleagues of David Frantz, for those able to help him and his family during their time of need. David and Ellin, his wife, are not the kind of folks who would ever reach out for help for themselves.
David has been out of work for over 6 months due to a foot condition, mostly a result of long-term underlying health problems. In January he was admitted to the hospital, subsequently having major surgery on his foot. David will soon be transitioning to a Rehab facility for an undetermined amount of time.
David is the sole provider for his family and his income, including the loss of overtime, has been drastically reduced to disability payments. This has caused a significant financial impact for the family. Their living expenses and medical bills are piling up. Not only is the house they currently rent being sold, it is also having heat issues. They now find themselves in a desperate search for a new home to rent, ASAP. They need funds for a deposit, which includes a few months security.
Compounding things a bit more, Ellin’s mother is in hospice care.
For those who don’t know David, he is truly a man of service.
-For his family – You would be hard pressed to find a man as devoted and ‘present’, no matter how difficult a situation may be. He is the rock of the family.
-For his country – 12 years in the military (Air Force and Coast Guard)
-For his church – A longstanding member of St. James RC Church and the K of C
-For his community – 12 + years with the Edison EMS (Clara Barton). He is not only a member helping Edison citizens in distress, he is also a certified CPR/First Aid instructor, teaching others to help. Additionally, for over 15 years, David has been an active member of the Woodbridge CERT (Community Emergency Response team).
-David has been employed at NJ Blood Services/NYBCe for 23 years. In his position, he collects blood, platelets and plasma for countless recipients who require essential products to live/survive/heal. He is well respected by his colleagues and is often willing to switch shifts to help a co-worker.
David’s selfless commitment to helping others is unsurpassed - saving and impacting countless lives.
This is a critical time when we can help David and his family now and over the next several months. No donation is too small. All funds will go directly to David/Ellin.
Prayers are also welcomed!
