Hello my name is Darrell Houser. I just turned 35 years old on July 18. Well I hardly ever get to go out anymore so while me and some friends were out Thursday night, July 24th I had a freak accident and I fell off the Chasers Charlotte Noda stage in Charlotte. It was a tragic, horrific fall. I fell 4 feet. Someone called 911 and when EMS got there they put me straight on the stretcher got me to the ambulance and took me straight to CMC main hospital and that’s when they did the x-rays and they told me I had a tibial plateau fracture. So on Friday evening I had to have a major surgery. I was in the operating room for over three hours on late Friday afternoon and then I went to recovery and then they put me on the 5th floor of the hospital which was an orthopedic surgical inpatient room. I got out of the hospital on Sunday evening. So before I got discharged on Sunday the doctors came in and said that I cannot put any pressure whatsoever on my right leg which means no working, no driving, no daily activities, or anything. So although I hate asking for help at this point in my life I’m desperate for help. Because without your help I won’t be able to pay my bills while I’m down and out.
