Aid Danny Kitzerow's Journey to Recovery

Donation protected
We are asking for help for the Kitzerow family as they face the battle of a lifetime.
Danny and his Dad both came to work for us this year and have been a great
asset to our team at Ludwig's Seasonal Service and K2 Directional Drilling. One day recently Danny had to call in sick as he wasn’t
feeling well and had a pain in his pec/armpit area. He found a small lump which
increased in size rapidly. When they went to see the doctor they were
immediately concerned. He was sent right away to Madison to the UW Health
American Family Children’s Hospital. After multiple tests, scans, spinal taps, etc
he has been diagnosed with Burkitt’s Lymphoma which is one of the fastest
growing cancers. Danny will be receiving chemotherapy a.s.a.p. Unfortunately,
he was born with only one kidney which complicates the treatment because the
kidneys help filter the chemo drugs.
This family faces a long, long road ahead. They do have health insurance but
will have many extra expenses to deal with such as lodging, gas to travel back
and forth to Madison which is a 440 mile round trip, in addition to keeping their
bills paid. Both parents will be needing to take off of work to take turns being with
their son. Danny is only 18 years old and very scared and apprehensive of what
his future holds.
A little help from friends, family and community would go a long way in giving this
family a little breathing room from worrying about their expenses so they can
focus on healing, prayers and positive energy as they support Danny.
Please consider helping this young man and his family.
