Help Aid Daniel Dorsey’s Surgery and Recovery

CALLING ALL MOTORCYCLE RIDERS, COMMUNITY, FAMILY, AND FRIENDS! Monday night at 8:53, a garbage truck pulled out on me and Daniel at the last second on 15 southbound. I had just enough time to swerve, but unfortunately, he had to lay the bike down and slid under the truck and out the other side, and miraculously it saved his life. He was rushed to Meritus Medical Center, where they tried to stabilize him and prepare for transport to Shock Trauma in Baltimore. The amazing team of surgeons operated on him for 7 hours and saved his arm after being told amputation was a big possibility. I almost witnessed someone I love, my best friend/brother, lose his life right in front of my eyes because of drivers careless mistake. PLEASE I BEG YOU LOOK OUT FOR BIKES!!! Pay attention when you’re out there driving around. Lives are at stake , and life is so precious.

I am starting this GoFundMe to go towards supporting Daniel in helping with medical bills since he will need multiple surgeries to recover from this accident and support for the family while taking care of him. Also, being away from the thing he loves most, which is fixing cars and working full time as a mechanic. He will have to take months off work and lots of physical therapy to get back to how life once was. He is a very talented, hard-working individual who has a burning passion for fixing cars and helping family or friends with anything that comes up. I’ve never seen someone with a bigger heart than Daniel, so if you are able to help with anything and spare a few dollars towards his recovery, that would be greatly appreciated and make a huge difference
