On March 26th, Daniel Llanes, beloved Austin artist, composer, community organizer, and EarthCulture Dancer, was hospitalized and diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma, or cancer of the liver. He spent eight nights at St. David's and has been recovering at his daughter's home and receiving treatment, since.

Daniel is newly insured, but we are dealing with the increased expenses of these new diagnoses and the adjustments and copays that come with cancer treatment. He also hasn’t been able to work most of the year.
