Hello, my name is Nicole. I am creating this GoFundMe page for my best friend Dana Marie Scheck, who has been my friend since elementary school. She’s a mom of two young boys, Michael, who just turned six, and Anthony, who just turned two. In December 2023, they moved to Tennessee from New Jersey because housing is cheaper and Michael was offered a good job opportunity.

October 23 was a normal day. They woke up, her husband went to work as normal. He’s a hard-working man who is providing fully for his family at this time. Dana is a stay-at-home mom currently. Yesterday, October 23rd, Dana received a phone call from her husband Michael’s work. They told her that he had collapsed and that he was being airlifted to the nearest hospital. When they arrived at the nearest hospital, he was put on a respirator, which is currently keeping him alive. He has had scans, seen a neurologist, cardiologist, seen a neurosurgeon. He had a massive heart attack and now has a massive bleed on his brain, and they are saying that he has no brain activity at this point. The brain bleed has done so much damage. The prognosis is not good.
