on January 31, exactly eight months after Dan entered the hospital, he passed from this life and into the arms of our Lord and Savior.

On May 31, 2025, our friend and brother in Christ, Dan Williams, went into the hospital not feeling well. After two intense days of heart failure, he was life-flighted to Shands hospital in Gainesville, FL where he spent the next four months. His heart ultimately recovered, but the incident meant his circulation to crucial body parts was compromised for a long time. This led to an amputation of his right lower leg and kidney & liver complications.

Dan’s wife, Sarah, has been by his side during the entirety of this crisis. Praise God, Dan has made strides in recovery - but also has taken some steps backward as well. On October 7, Dan and Sarah were able to transfer to a long-term acure care hospital in Pensacola, which is wonderful because it allows them to be closer to friends & family for support.

Dan’s ongoing focus will be nutrition and physical therapy. Both of these things will allow his body the best chance at a full recovery.

Meanwhile, Sarah will be faced with traveling back and forth from their home in Crestview or, on some nights, needing to stay in Pensacola to be closer to her husband.

I am asking for funds to support Sarah in this effort - gas money for the travel and money to acquire a hotel room when needed, or even potentially a long-term air bnb.

Whether or not you are able to help financially, we also need prayers for Dan’s physical healing, his mental wellbeing, and for Sarah to remain strong during this ongoing challenge they’ve been faced with in these early years of their marriage.
