Hello, my name is Dalon Chalk. I was trying to help a friend, and we were involved in a horrific accident. Let me explain. After a long night in the studio, a couple of my friends wanted to go to a nightclub. My other friend and I stayed outside in the car and slept. When we noticed the time, we decided to go inside and get them to take us home, which is an hour away. Once inside the nightclub, we noticed our friends were highly intoxicated, so we decided to drive their cars home. Unfortunately, this is where trying to help a friend not drive drunk went wrong. While driving home, I fell asleep, struck a pole, and ran into a business.

I am now dealing with some serious medical issues due to the accident. I suffered two broken hips, a broken pelvis, a broken tailbone, a fracture at the base of my skull, and a fractured spine. I have a bruised lung and back. I was in the ICU. I had to have surgery where permanent screws were put in my hips, pelvis, and tailbone, and I have to wear a neck collar for 3 months.

I am so sorry for the devastation that I have caused to Diamond Life. To the owners Kami Anders and Katamara Frasier, I apologize for hurting your business. I am deeply remorseful for the damages I caused. Please know that it was not intentional and there were no alcohol or drugs involved. I simply fell asleep while driving.
