On Friday, November 29, 2024, my world turned upside down when my dog was hit by a car. He has been in the hospital ever since, fighting to recover from severe injuries, including multiple fractures. Despite his brave spirit, he is in excruciating pain and unable to eat independently, requiring IV fluids and pain management with fentanyl.

The vets have advised that he stay in the hospital for another 4–7 days to ensure his recovery, but as a college student, I am struggling to afford the mounting medical bills. While I desperately want to bring him home, doing so against medical advice would jeopardize his health and prolong his suffering.
