Aid Creighton Hobbs' Healing and Film trailer

Hey y’all, my name is Creighton Hobbs. I’m a Southern filmmaker, the owner of Creighton Films, and the director of a powerful new film called Stolen in Silence a story that brings attention to the heartbreaking issue of human trafficking right here in our own communities.

For over 20 years, I’ve been a public figure in media and entertainment. I’ve spent the last seven years making movies with no big studios or fancy backers just real stories, made from the heart, by a team that believes in the work.

What Happened

We were in the middle of filming the concept trailer for Stolen in Silence. This trailer is what we’ll use to launch our Indiegogo campaign, so we can raise funds to shoot the full movie later this year.

As the director, I decided to spice things up with a small action scene just to give the trailer some punch. But while performing a stunt, I took a bad fall… and things got serious fast.

I ended up fracturing my hip, requiring surgery and now recovery with a metal rod in my leg. As a brittle diabetic who also takes care of my elderly parents, this injury has created a tough situation. I can’t film, I can’t travel, and I’ve had to put the trailer (and campaign launch) on hold until I heal.

Why I’m Asking for Help

I’m not raising money to finish the film. That’s what Indiegogo will be for.

Right now, I’m asking for your help to:

• Cover medical and recovery costs

• Support my basic needs while I heal

• Finish the trailer as soon as I’m able to get back on my feet

• Cover expenses related to launching the Indiegogo campaign

What Stolen in Silence Is All About

This film is about human trafficking, especially how it happens behind closed doors often unnoticed. It’s a story that’s raw, real, and inspired by true events. My team and I are passionate about bringing it to life because we know it can make a difference.
