This page was originally created as I was having complications with my Crohn's Disease and have several hospital stays. Since then my wife Lydia was admitted to Corwell Troy when she had an emergency c-section, giving birth to our beautiful baby boy Noah Spencer Stevenson. Noah is still there in the NICU, and doing great and no longer relying on an isolette. Lydia spent a few days in the ICU at Corwell on a ventilator, where she was discharged July 14th. Within hours of being home Lydia went into respiratory distress and emergency services were contacted. Shortly after arriving she went into cardiac arrest and was without a pulse for several minutes, causing significant swelling and damage to the brain. As of July 22nd she had a trachea tube and a feeding tube inserted, and has an incredibly long road to recovery ahead and I want to thank everyone for their continued support by either sharing or donating what you can, it's been an extremely helpful.
My husband Corey was first diagnosed with Crohn's disease back in 2018. Back in May of this year he ended up with a bad bacterial infection in his large intestine that he was hospitalized for a few days for, and sent home with antibiotics. This caused a lot of pain and discomfort resulting in him being out of work. Recently he has been hospitalized again since June 17 with a very bad chrons flare up due to his previous infection and the immense inflammation in his large intestine. He hasn't been able to work for the last month and a half, and I myself have missed work being by his side. As many of you know we have a son and are expecting another around sept 2nd. We are asking for donations to help cover medical bills and expenses, and to help out with our normal bills that are starting to pile up. We appreciate anything, even if it's just a share to help spread the word. Please keep our family in your thoughts as we navigate this health journey.
