This is a tough one for me to post, but I believe it’s important to remember not only Mike but also his wonderful family, who had an incredible impact on many of us.

Many of us were still processing the loss of Mike’s dad, Martin, when we received the news of Michael’s passing. Sadly, the quick succession of family loss comes with a significant financial burden.

While his aunt graciously manages the funeral arrangements, we—his close group of friends—are coming together to help lighten the financial burden of the services. Our goal is to support the family during this tough time so they can focus on honoring Mike’s memory without added stress.

Any contribution, regardless of amount, will go directly toward covering funeral expenses and ensuring that Mike receives the farewell he deserves. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would mean a lot.

Thank you for your kindness, love, and support as we celebrate the life of someone who touched us all deeply.

Our goal is to raise $8250 to bury Mike alongside his parents. These funds will cover Martin’s marker ($1700), both Mike and Pat’s shared marker and services ($6300), and the GoFundMe transaction fees. The funds will be paid directly to Cumberland Memorial Gardens. The expected completion is four months following the full payment.

Any excess funds will be allocated for unexpected incidentals and a memorial service, which will be scheduled upon completion. We will coordinate the memorial service here and through the private Facebook Group, Beyond the Gray Sky – In Loving Memory of Christopher Michael Corbin.

We look forward to honoring Mike’s memory by laying him to rest with his parents and then coming together to celebrate the cherished memories we share of our life with Mike.
