Aid Colleen Graham's Fight Against Sarcoma

My name is Colleen Graham and I would like to humbly ask for assistance.

I had knee surgery on 1/29/25. I was doing therapy but for some reason I could not get off the cane and I felt my hip kind of give out on me. And on March 17th I had a terrible shooting pain radiate all the way down to my foot. It was very very painful and caused me to have no movement in my left foot. Like a foot drop problem. Now I have to remain on a walker so I do not fall. So my doctor decided to do an MRI and see if there were any ligament tears in my hip. The MRI showed a large tumor in the left pelvic area. He said there were not doctors locally who could perform this type of surgery and suggested five places here in the states. My doctor had studied at MD Anderson in Houston and highly recommend them for the best possible outcome.

I went out there in mid April for a biopsy and pet scan. The biopsy came back as a malignant sarcoma. They said it is a very rare tumor and difficult to treat. The pet scan did not show that it had spread so that was hopeful news for me. They sent me back home to Sarasota while they come up with a plan of treatment. They estimate that it will require chemo therapy first, then radiation and then surgery. Because travel for me now is extremely difficult, it is best for me to stay out there for the duration of treatment which could be 9 months or longer in an assisted living facility. Then after surgery a rehab facility for a while.

So with travel expenses, assisted living rent and all the out of pocket/out of network charges, the money will quickly add up for me. So I would like to humbly ask for any assistance people could help me out with.
