My name is Cliff and I'm a recovering addict. I've been clean for 3 years. I'm in online college courses through Post University. I want to be a substance abuse counselor.

On October 19th, 2023, I got hurt really bad. I just had major surgery on October 13th. The surgery went well, but I had to have my whole abdominal wall repaired, so I'm having problems with infections. I cannot cover my rent and I don't know what to do. I'm asking for help. I will soon be back on my feet, but I need help, please. I'm all alone. I spent Thanksgiving by myself. That's fine, but the loneliness is hard sometimes. I know in my heart that God has my back. I didn't die for a reason. I had a 5% chance of even surviving. I know what I need to do, but I need help to get there. Thank you to anyone that can help, and may God protect you.
