Aid Ciro Garcia's Journey to Healing and Hope

My dad had a 20ft fall from an attic at work. As a result, he had a pretty severe spinal injury and is now with a trachea and paralyzed. We are facing a long road of recovery and a new reality.

As we face this tragedy, we have encountered all kinds of difficulties. From the start, we struggled with insurance to cover the transfer to a long-term hospital. We are currently struggling to get him to a rehabilitation hospital.

My dad’s name is Ciro Garcia. He is a 68-year-old man who has worked his entire life to take care of his wife and 7 children. My dad has always been a hard working, present, loving dad, and has always managed to have a smile even in the hardest of times. All we want is to give him the help we know he deserves. He has spent a majority of his life in the US working for everything he’s ever had. I’ve seen the daily struggles he and my mom faced while we grew up, the constant working day and night to survive. We never thought something like this would happen to our family. We are now faced with an uncertain future. All we can do now is ask for help and prayers.
