My name is Shelley Boring, and I am doing this GoFundMe for my beautiful and generous cousin Cindi Boring-Sargent who lost everything in hurricane Helene. And as I write this request she is once again preparing to evacuate for the second time in less than 2 weeks because another major hurricane is heading her way. Cindi is a loving grandmother and a widow. Her husband Rolland was a firefighter who almost gave his own life running into his own fire station as it was burning to the ground to save the firetruck. Rolland was severely injured in this attempt and Cindi stayed by his side and nursed him back to health. He built them the most beautiful home in New Port Richey, and they loved living there for almost 10 years till he passed away on Oct 4, 2020 from complications of the fire. Now 4 years later on Oct 4, 2024 Cindi was picking through what was left of their beautiful home trying to find any memento of Rolland and the life they shared.
