For those of you who don't know, my name is Jess. Christy Sanders has been a friend for several years and honestly more like family. Recently a major medical emergency has stranded her and her family out of state in Tenessee. Last week she had to undergo a quadruple heart bypass and is still in the hospital recovering. The doctors have not informed her how long she will need to stay and when she does get released, she will need to stay close to the hospital for several days in case of another emergency. Then once the doctors do release her to return home in Oklahoma, she will need to do so in a specific manner. The doctor informed them they would need to take the 20hr drive over 5 days, stopping every hour to walk in order to prevent blood clots. Then once returning home she will need more procedures for other blockages she still has in other arteries. Due to this, they are having to fund air bnb's/hotels/motels, food, their regular bills and obviously the astronomical medical bills, as her husband and sons are there with her. Her husband has utilized his vacation days from work but those are almost used up as he and the boys are in Tenessee with her until she can come home. If I can say anything about Christy, it is that she is the most loving, caring and giving person. She absolutely will go above and beyond to help anyone so I am hoping I can return the favor with creating this. They really need any help that you can give and nothing is too small. We all appreciate you!
