Christina's Journey Against Breast Cancer

Our beloved friend and co worker, Christina Cunningham, was dx with Breast Cancer weeks after her mother received the same devastating diagnosis. Christina’s mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in Dec. Had surgery in Jan while she was taking care of her she went in for her routine mammogram and was told there was an area of suspicion. after a biopsy and many tests later it was determined that she had a more aggressive form of breast cancer. She will be doing chemo over the next 18 weeks and if all goes well surgery in July. During this time, she is trying to work between treatments as FMLA and PTO will not fully cover the time spent off work. Not only is she dealing with a health crisis but, a financial one as well.
