In July, Chris went into the emergency room with the feeling of having a tight chest and the inability to keep food down. In just four hours, he was taken to have open heart surgery. Chris had an aortic dissection. They ended up replacing the main valve of his heart. This not only was a shock, it caused his whole life to have to stop. Having insurance can only help so much and bills don't stop needing to be paid just because you are on medical leave.
