Hello! My name is Chloe, and I will be having a hysterectomy in August. This is a major surgery that will help with my endometriosis, as well as other difficulties I experience.

Because hysterectomies are major and invasive, the recommended recovery time is 4-6 weeks -- this means no lifting, difficulty driving, pain and discomfort. I started a job in late May, and haven't accrued much in the way of sick time or PTO.

All donations will be used for rent, groceries, bills (both existing and the medical bills due to the surgery), as well as things to make my recovery more comfortable (like heating pads, any medications they prescribe me, etc). Also, because I established this surgery before changing insurance companies, I will have to pay for the doctor's services out of pocket, by way of just over $1,200.
