If you’re lucky enough to meet Chico, you have seen first hand the amount of spunk and love this little guy packs in. That’s exactly what drew Morgan to him when she rescued him earlier this year.

Last weekend, Chico escaped through an opening in the fence during a public firework show nearby. Scared, he ran further and further from home until he was hit by a car and left in the road - all while Morgan was frantically searching for him. Thankfully, Chico was born a fighter and made it through the accident. He is healing from injuries to his lung, as well as a nerve injury in his leg that may require amputation in the coming weeks. That isn’t without incurring vet bills just as oversized for him as his personality $4,550 with potential for those to grow much larger.

As you can imagine, this has been extremely hard on Morgan. As a dog trainer and lover, this is a nightmare scenario. She puts all of her time and energy into helping others and their pets, and I am hoping a donation of just a few dollars can add up to make this process smoother for both her and Chico.
