Emelia’s Fight with Bone Cancer

Emelia was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer, in early April of 2025. She was misdiagnosed for months before this and decided it was time for a second opinion. She made an appointment at Bone and Joint in Wausau and received a X-Ray. It was then that she was told the knee pain she had been having for months was a tumor. A MRI was scheduled soon after and the results proved to be consistent with Osteosarcoma. She was then referred to Froedert in Milwaukee there she received CT scans and a bone biopsy. After many virtual appointments she got the results of high grade Osteosarcoma. Emelia is mom to Luca (4) Greyson (3) Saydee (1) bonus mom to Raegynn (5) and wife to Keller. She had gone back to work in August of 2024 after 3 years of staying home. Since then she went back to school to receive her CNA and became state certified. After receiving her state certification she began her career in mental health which was something she had always wanted to do. After her biopsy she was told she could no longer bear any weight on her right leg which meant she could no longer work. Since she had only worked there for a short time she does not qualify for paid leave and is currently on an unpaid leave of absence. Please consider donating to help pay for her medical bills.
